[Irl-dean] NCC Co-ordinator

Hi,

Most people I think are aware that Ina McGrath has vacated the post of
Co-ordinator for the National Contact Centre for the EDeAN and Irl-DEaN
networks.  Ina changed job a few months ago - in the meantime Bob Allen and
myself have been trying to keep things ticking over since her departure.
In the last week or so we've been able to consolidate this position.
Therefore, I'll be taking over responsibility for the Co-ordinator role.
I'm hoping initially to take over from where Ina left off, she had done a
substantial amount of work establishing an Irish network - this can,
hopefully be continued and built upon.  What I'm hoping to do is try and
meet with members of the network over the next few weeks to get an idea of
what everyone hopes to get from the network and how we can move forward.

Thanks to Barry McMullin for setting up the long awaited mailing list for
the network - this will be a handy tool for communication and I would
encourage everyone to participate as much as possible.

Just to let everyone know - Bob Allen will be attending the launch in
Brussels next month of the EDeAN network.  He will be representing Irl-DEaN
and should have an opportunity to find out what is planned for the network
in the medium and long term.

So if anyone has any queries etc., please get in contact with me here - I'll
try and answer any queries as quickly as possible and will circulate
information as I become aware of it.
