[Irl-dean] Nitpicking

Hi everyone,
I subscribe to a number of accessibility mailing lists and groups, some
good, some bad. Without doubt, the best groups are the ones that focus on
discussion and dialogue without needlessly poking holes in the format of
peoples contributions - be they web pages or email or documents.
I agree that the members of this list should, to the best of their
abilities, contribute documents in an accessible format (which does not mean
thay have to be WAI triple A comliant!). My concern is that list will
degenerate (as the WAI W3C list often does - and it can get heated and
personal) and be of little value, people will clam up and it'll all get very
quiet... If you have something to say about someones contributions, I think
it would be a good idea if these comments were made in private, and mail
them directly to the sender. Honey catches more bees than vinegar.
I hope this comment catches people in a good humour. I get enough hate mail,
thank you very much!
Best regards
Matthew Ovington

I think if Brenda increased her Font size it would improve accessibility to
her email message for the visually impaired, and the old duffers who need
glasses - like me.

Hi All,
Thanks to everyone for their comments and recommendations with regard the
accessibility of the NDA website. The website is still underdevelopment and
the content management system is not yet in place so comments on how to
improve the accessibility of the website are very welcome.
Internally we are currently reviewing the content, structure and
accessibility of the website. The requirement to have our documents in an
accessible HTML format will be addressed as part of this review.
The NDA will endeavor to provide future publications posted on the NDA
website in an accessible HTML format. A HTML version of the DLCG document
will be available tomorrow.
Again thank you for the constructive feedback
