[Irl-dean] FINALLY: Influence Web Accessibility Monitoring/Certification in Europe

Dear All -

Apologies again for the technical problems relating to the
invitation, circulated on Wednesday last 16 Feb 2005, to
participate in a stakeholders need survey for the development of
a web accessibility certification scheme in Europe.

The problems were due to mis-configuration of Internet routing at
the website service provider. Unfortunately it appears that, by
chance, this particularly affected traffic from Ireland.  The
problem was effectively resolved early on Thursday, 17th Feb
2005; however, I delayed circulating yet another message until I
could be sure the service was completely stable - which is now
the case.

Again, my sincere apologies for this delay; but I would encourage
all with any view on the merits - or otherwise! - of a
Europe-wide certification scheme for the accessibility of
websites to users with disability and the elderly, to please make
your views known by participating in this survey.  The URL again
