We often carry out accessibility testing of public sector websites in Ireland,
generally in situations where another party is the main developer,
and we are asked to verify that they have met the required accessibility
standard.
We try to only test against that subset of the W3C WCAG Guidelines
that deals with fairly objective HTML markup issues, so that
our results are not debatable, but we do review colour schemes
and search engine result presentation as well, where it can become
a little more subjective.
Not sure what you mean by "testing for AT".
Do you mean testing the usability of a website or electronic
resource using AT?
