Hugh,
I regularly carry out brief audits of public sector websites. These are
not formal audits and their purpose is to increase the organisation's
knowledge of accessibility and to suggest next steps. They invariably
begin with the recommendation that the organisation have a formal web
audit carried by a professional consultant in the field.
