Hi all,

Guideline 2.2 Allow users to control time limits on their reading or interaction.

Level 2:
1. Content does not blink for more than 3 seconds, or a method is available
to stop any blinking content in the delivery unit.
2. Moving or time-based content can be paused by the user.

My opinion:
Firstly, I don't agree that "blinking"/"moving" content should be included
in this guideline. Allowing the user to "stop any blinking content" is not
exactly allowing them to "control time limits on their reading or interaction".

In general:
Blinking content: should be replaced with static content.
Moving content: user should be given an option to turn this content off altogether
and an alternative text equivalent of the content should be provided.
Guidelines on blinking/moving content should be at level 1 (not level 2 as
specified). The user should have control over this content at all times.

Regards - Elaine
