Hi All,
I am the second half of CFIT. Where to begin - It has been a long and
winding road and much of what I know (that has any lasting value anyway)
has been gained from hard graft on the coal face of modern life. I have
had various occupational incarnations as a graphic designer (print 3
years), web developer (5 years +) , a new media/IT trainer with an
emphasis on multimedia development (5 years +). After several years in
the shark infested waters of the private sector I stumbled into
accessibility as I developed the National Federation of Archclubs Website
http://www.archclubs.com
and that led to other things. I gradually got into more "people focused"
work which was a welcome reprieve from the world of "sell, sell". I
worked for Enable Ireland and had a great year with them as Assistive
Technology keyperson for the North East (Cavan, Monaghan, Meath) helping
users with their AT/IT needs and providing IT training to adults with a
wide range of disabilities. It was an amazing experience and opened my
eyes to the diversity of computer users and their requirements. I then
moved on to a supported employment project in Meath.

Now I am delighted to be apart of CFIT and its many exciting projects
and possibilities.
Before all of that I was a musician and in my spare time I run a small
record label (not accessible, yet),

read a lot and am studying computer science. I live in Meath.
