Hi,

I am married with two children, Owen (6) and conor (5).

I hold a Degree in Economics from UCD.

I am a Fellow of the Irish Computer society and have worked as a Software engineer for over 20 years.

I have been involved with many organisations dealing with the inclusion of people with disabilities in Ireland for around 20 years.  these include VICS, the Irish council of People with disabilities, The forum of People with Disabilities, AHEAD and others.

I have spoken in 10 countries on both sides of the Atlantic at conferences relating to accessibility, in my own name and on behalf of the European Disability forum.  I am a member of EDF's Universal Access Committee.

I am a consultant in the area of accessibility and usability under the name Feel The BenefIT.  I have undertaken reviews of web sites and software for several public and private organisations.
