I think it is a non-issue as it is one of three options to enter in your
reference.
You can swipe your credit card or passport and they'll look up the
reference for you and it is much faster too.
Also, in order to book the flight you (to use the fast track) you will
need to have booked it on-line, where you would have needed to use a
QWERTY keyboard anyway!!!
