Hi All -

Just to say that, on behalf of DCU, we welcome this statement and
proposal from CUED.  We very much supported the original idea for
the creation of CUED and are delighted that it is now established
and is pro-actively moving forward with the national Universal
Design agenda.

In terms of the hosting and administration of the irl-dean email
list, we have been happy to facilitate this up to now, but
equally see the merits of now migrating this responsibility to
CUED.  That said, we would, of course, wish to hear and respect
the wishes of the members of the list.

Brendan commented:

My preference is that we should be able to decide this simply by
a consensus, as expressed here on this list.  So I suggest we
allow, say, a week, for comments, and then review the situation
again in the light of that.
