Hi all,

This just came through from GAWDS. If anyone is looking for work in the
UK (London) it could be of interest.

Cheers

Josh

We have a permanent vacancy for a website functionality and
accessibility tester to join our small team. Previous experience of
accessibility testing and a thorough understanding of the WCAG are
essential. Good knowledge of front-end web technologies such as HTML
and CSS is expected, and knowledge of JavaScript and Flash would be
very useful.

With regard to functionality testing, experience is far more
important than qualifications. All testing is performed manually via
the user interface so we do not require knowledge of any test tools
or server-side languages.

Ideally candidates will have several years experience of testing or
development of interactive web-based applications such as e-
commerce, e-learning, online banking etc. After a period of
induction and training you will run your own projects, so strong
verbal and written communication skills are essential.

This is a mid-level to senior role with a salary in the range £30k
to £40k. We are currently located in Staines and will be moving to
central London around the end of the year.

If you are interested or know anyone else who might be, please
contact me as soon as possible. Note that this is a full-time
permanent role, and we cannot consider contractors, part-time
working or remote working.
