engineer to make it accessible. however the main problem with this is
that if you have heavy customisation in place future updates to
sharepoint may break these.
I suppose the real message is that Sharepoint is great at its main
tasks such as document management etc. But it should not be used as a
Content Management System if you want an accessible website
There are several alternative CMS including opensource technologies
which I believe will result in a more accessible website.
I am very interested in others point of view on this as well. Have any
developers here had to use sharepoint? What were their experiences?
