Hi Eoin,

This kind of accordion menu is fairly common fare these days. As long as
the content is available if JS is off etc then you are on pretty safe
territory, as you say it degrades gracefully which is good.

I think whatever you may gain for these user groups implementing this
kind of menu, you will certainly loose with the scroll bars that appear
when there is a lot of content hidden under a particular heading. Also
many of the embedded links don't make sense when read out of context,
which I suppose could be easily changed. As you say the way a screen
reader will see this content is rather like a static HTML page. The
visual layer as such is eye candy for sighted users, which is fine and
has its place.

Does this implementation add anything to the user experience? I guess
that is subjective. I don't find this one that elegant and its a big
thumbs down for the scroll bars for overflowing content IMO.
