Hello all,
I'm pleasantly surprised by the focus that Apple have given to
accessibility for the latest version of the iPhone.
Apple have mentioned Accessibility on the home page for the iPhone 3G S
[1]. They have webpages to describe its accessibility features in terms of
vision [2], hearing [3], and physical and motor skills [4]. They've made
impressive boasts about the VoiceOver screen reader in particular. It seems
that Apple have included a diverse range of accessibility features, and not
just a couple of token features.
I haven't actually seen the iPhone 3G S yet, but if anyone wants to donate
one to us, feel free! :-)
Regards,
Alan.
