Folks,
a consultation paper on the "Emergency Call Answering Service" (ECAS) has
been issued by DCENR.[1]
Consultation paper in the form of a Word document [2]

Closing date is coming up fast. I plan to make a submission.

Interested parties are invited to submit ideas, suggestions and
comments aimed at improving access to the ECAS service for callers
with disabilities. Really, that means people who are deaf or hard of
hearing.

Submissions should be addressed to:

Mr John Moore
Communications Division
Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources
29-31 Adelaide Road
Dublin 2

Submissions may be made by email to: John.Moore at dcenr.gov.ie

The deadline for receipt of submissions is:

Monday, 31st August 2009 at 4:00 pm

Apologies to Mark Magennis who previously posted to the group on this
consultation but whose blocked posting (due to a large file attachment) I
missed until now.
Regards,
Dónal.
