[CEUD-ICT] Cooper's redesigned website

Hi,

Alan Cooper's design company has redesigned their website [1].

Interestingly, the whole content of the website is actually on one huge
page. (At least, that's how it appeared to me in Internet Explorer 7.)

There are typical navigation bars at the top of the page, but they don't
link to new webpages. Instead, they use JavaScript to move the content, so
that the bit of content that you're looking for ends up in front of you.
The movement takes a second, and is deliberately very visible, so you can
learn what's going on. It took me a few seconds to realise what was
happening. It's nicely reassuring to have the whole website in front of you
at once, because you don't have to spend time discovering it by following
links that load new webpages. It's possible, but time-consuming, to
navigate by keyboard only. I haven't tried navigating the website with a
screen reader; I would guess that different screen readers would give
different levels of success with it.

What do you all think? I'd be very interested to hear your opinions on the
accessibility of this design. It might become a popular design format.

Alan.
