Social Welfare) is currently developing a new Public Services Card,
available to all Irish citizens, which will contain smart card
technology.</p><p align="">After meeting with the Department last week, NCBI CFIT is preparing a tailored guideline document to pass on to the Department,
aiming to improve the accessibility of the card and its related
services. We would like to hear your experiences, both positive and
negative, relating to smart cards and smart card services.</p><p align="">I am very familiar with existing smart card guidelines, including the NDA Centre for Excellence in Universal Design guidelines and RNIB's Tiresias guidelines, having been involved in the development of the Tiresias guidelines. However, I am looking for personal experiences, feedback and comments in relation to smart cards, smart card services or existing smart card guidelines. Do existing technologies and services meet your needs?
